Today was my last day at Kegonsa Elementary. It was a fun filled day! We started the day by making ginger bread houses! The kids had a blast!! They then got to hit a piƱata. It was so fun to watch, but scary at the same time because you never knew if they were going to wait for me to get put of the way before they swung! No injuries:) after lunch it was time for my good bye party. The kids were so cute. They all made individual cards for me. (yes I cried).
It was hard to say good bye at the end of the day. One of my girls was crying and I couldn't hold it in any longer. I'm such an emotional person! We did a great big group hug at the end of the day and we all said good bye. I'm going to miss these students so much. I couldn't have asked for a better group of students! They are all truly amazing kids!

Jamaica Bound!!!!
Graduation was on Saturday the 17th! So excited to be done with college and on onto my next chapter in life!! It is hard to believe in that in 4 weeks I will be on my way to Jamaica to experience a new way of education and life!
Right now I am on Stoughton at Kegonsa Elementary and I absolutely love it. It will be so hard to leave the kids on Thursday. I have had a great learning experience thanks to my awesome cooperating teacher, Mrs. Rusch. I don't even know how to thank her for all she has done for me. Thanks Mrs. Rusch!!!!!
